About Me
Beliefnet is one of the online resources that helped me finalize my decision to convert to Islam, in October of 2002.
I have always been a questioner and knowledge-seeker, which is a trait I believe brought me to Islam in the first place. I would say that I'm a liberal thinker and a moderate practitioner. I'm currently in the process of reassessing my spiritual beliefs and practices...but who isn't.
I am finishing my last year of graduate school, so I am very busy. In my free time I like to expand my personal "Islamic library" (and patiently wait for the wee hours to slip in a page or two of leisure reading) and participate on the Islam Boards. Inshallah (God willing) I would like to use my professional skills to help others and raise awareness concerning communication disorders in the Middle East, South Asia, and perhaps Africa.

Gender: Female
