About Me
"WHAT FAITH ONE BELIEVED MATTERS, KNOWING OR BELIEVING IN THE EXISTENCE OF GOD ALONE IS NOT ENOUGH!"
Dear members and God-surffers,
1. Nations and Tribes
The Qur'an says:
"O men! Behold, We have created you all out of a male and a female, and have made you into nations and tribes, so that you might come to know one another. Verily, the noblest of you in the sight of God is the one who is the most deeply conscious of Him. Behold, God is all-knowing, all-aware.' - Al-Hujurat (The Private Apartments), 49: 13
[Beliefnet provided the platform of the element (to know one another) in the just quoted verse. And, the noblest of all of us is the most conscious of God. The 'consciousness' of God, easy said than understood, is indeed the point of contention among the believers of God.]
2. To Worship God
The Qur'an says:
"And [tell them that] I have not created jin (the invisible beings) and men to any end other than that [they may] know and worship Me.' -Adh-Dhariyat (The Dust-Scattering Winds),51: 56
Less men forget, there's no business better than the business of worshipping God and that is the purpose of our very existence on earth. Real
spiritual happiness and bliss during our sojourn on earth is only
achievable through this end otherwise are mere material happiness. God
provides the means to worship Him
to enable us to experience God's grace. Each man is upon himself the burden to know God.
Be fair to your humanself, give it a chance and allow it to know the
whole spectrum of what men know about God so that you leave this world
(for everyone leave) but you leave it not in doubt. Do not be phobic of
the Qur'an. Remember, God is generous. So be generous to your soul too.
It is the one that will suffer, in the Hereafter, of your
wrong choice while your body it left decayed and blended back with the
soil it came from. If others does not share your views, be tolerant.
See how tolerant God
is around us. He is not trigger-happy with His wrath. He never forget
to give you time to search your soul until a time of course when you
should leave this world. The Apostles of God only convey, it is God who
gives. We should follow the course or path or example of the Apostles
of God when we wanted to preach.
3. What/who is God?
It is an entity or concept that one believed that determined (absolutely) one's destiny and affected one's life and so one by will of conscience chosen deliberately submitting oneself to it, call it Natural Selection (if you believed in Darwin and Richard Dawkins's Natural Selection) if you like.
There goes the story of the six blind men of Afghanistan and an
elephant, even though they are so close to the truth by being able to
touch the elephant, but because they are blind each contradict the
other as to the entity of the elephant. But there are men who are not blind who can see an elephant as an elephant is.
There goes the story too of men who claimed they know of a lady called
Leila. They described and pictured her as such and such but when Leila
came upon them, none seemed to recognise her. Such are what our cornucopia of what God is.
But God is what He defined and 'manifested' Himself as. The Qur'an says: 'Say He is God, the One an Only; God the Eternal, Absolute; He begetteth (incarnate) not, nor is He begotten (incarnated); and there is none like unto Him.' - Al-Ikhlas (Faith in its Purity), 112: 1-4
4.
Acknowledging the Existence of God alone is no saviour.
The notion that God exists is inborn in man. God does not sent His Apostles to proclaim His existence but to glorify Him. To glorify God is the fundamental issue.
Every member of the community of People of the Books (Jews and Christians) knows too well the story of Satan. Did he not knew God? Was God hidden from him? Did not God communicated with him? He was next to the angels having the access to know God and to communicate with God, questioning and answering God! He knew God did communicated to him when God asked him why he did not obey His command to bow to Adam. Do we know God as Satan knew Him? As Adam, Satan was never confused about God. But we the children of Adam, do we indeed know God as we claimed or are we actually confused as proven by our ever contradictory definitions of Him.

Faith Description: I am a born Sunni Moslem and interested in making sense of God. It is my utmost belief that God appealed to logic and the intelligence of the mind irrespective of one's religious belief. As God created the heavens and the earth and unto Him we all belong, there should be no religious barrier or restriction from any religion to debate God in order to make sense of Him, to realise His existence [not to experience] and finally to wholly rationally accepting Him as the only deity obliged to be worshipped. Putting faith into any religion, ideology, philosophy or scientific findings that contradict the mind is a waste of one's lifetime and such faith is only a fatamorgana and the worst kind of all drudgery there is.
