About Me
Hello. I joined Beliefnet as I liked the sounds of it, and thought it might be a good way to get to know others with similar interests.
I'm a 54 year old woman, married, mother of three, grandmother of four, and two of my children live at home and are still in school. We have two dogs and two cats in our home as we all love animals. I am also a caregiver to my father, although he doesn't live with us, but close by. I take him to dialysis three days a week, and take care of most of his needs as he is losing his vision.
I am also crippled up with arthritis, and fibromyalgia, and live with constant, chronic pain, and have two knees that need to be replaced, so am not able to be physically active. I also deal with a number of other health problems such as migraines, IBS....
I have always been interested in writing, although I've never made a great effort to be published, I do belong to several writing sites on the internet and enjoy writing short stories and poems.
For now, I just keep trying to take things "One Day at a Time", and keep placing my trust and faith in God.
