About Me
Hi All!
My name is David and I am at the beginning of my learning of Buddhism and other religions like Hinduism and Taoism. I live in Florida, in the United States.
I am 56 and have spent my former years trained as a Christian (Protestant, Church of Christ and Christian churches). However, for many years (starting at age 10) I struggled with many unanswered questions. Finally, with more study and understanding I realized the fear that had been taugh to me was a fear of nothing. I spent several months as an Atheist with no belief in anything. I was full of anger and resentment for being deceived for so long. Fortunately, I've never stopped searching for answers and have begun to explore the teaching of Buddha. I am new to these and still collecting information. I am a scientist by training and a researcher by nature.
I have been reading on my own and am very pleased to find this forum, that I might learn from those with more understanding and training. I look forward to learning and sharing any help I can with others.
Namaste
