About Me
I have this plaque at my house with a saying by maya angelou on it. "Let us work toward a time where everything gives us joy." I love this saying because it is truly the description of how I live my life--and she said it all in only one sentence! I am far from perfect, and am not even trying to be--but to have an interesting life working with art, that brings me peace and joy would be my ultimate dream come true! I joined this community because I wanted to respond to a forum question; because it seems like it would be motivating; and because I don't really have too many upbeat people to talk to. I believe myself to be an artist--writing and designing are my specialty! I would like to meet people who are dreamers, open-minded, and who have goals that they actually work towards.

Faith Description: I was raised as a strict baptist as a child, and feel that today it has deeply influenced my morals in my life. However with time and growth I realized that I needed to see more than just my religion in order to truly live and feel alive. I have attended different types of churches and gatherings to learn of different ways of thinking, and it was very interesting to me. I love differences and would like to learn to accept even more of the world, in order to accept myself more also.
