Singing, watching religous movies, walking and feeling God's breath on me when the wind blows or the gentleness of a breeze. I feel refreshed and more alive.

About Me
Hello and welcome,
My name is Josephine, I'm a cradle Catholic of Hispanic and Native American desent, but I'm often mistaken for Greek or Italian.
I have one child, who is 20, and I'm marrierd tp the same man going on 25 years. Im a Certified Catechist through the Archdiocese of Chicago. I've been a Religion Teacher for 14 years, and I enjoy it. I enjoy reading, walking and seeing God's handy work, music, being with family and friends, a good laugh, among other things. I'm also a certified Reiki Master.
My professional background is in Real Estate. I am a Licensed Realtor in the state of Illinois. I've been involved in the Real Estate world since my junior year in high school through the work program at Chicago Title & Trust. I enjoy working with people helping them find their dream home. In today's economy that's not too difficult to do as there are alot of properties to choose from. The challenge is in the financial apsect. Can one qualify for the loan? Will their job be out-sourced to another location/country? Will their company go belly up? Will our next President truly help our country get better financially? These and other quesitons are a constant worry for Buyers, Sellers, people in the lending end of deals and yes, me and may other Realtors across the country, not to mention everyone else.
I pray that we as a nation are guided by our Creator to choose the best candidate to help these United States of America and it's people move forward and be in a better financial situation that we've been in these past years. I pray that we can put these past years as a learning experience not only for the common man, but for our politicans as well. A learnaing experience that we NOT get into a situation as we've had again.
We are all made in our Creator's image. A we need to realize that our Creator has many different images, skin color, ideas, and traditions. As I'm always saying to my students - "Find the similarities iwith everyone you meet and compare the differences. Ask questons and explain why there are some difference. Celebrate the similarities and realize that no one is better than the other."

I had a comment on here, then I removed it after further investigation, I still believe a person should Pray before voting then Pray as they're voting. I'm believing in trying to vote in a Godly person, not one who want's to "Change" his mind with public opinion. A U.S. President needs to stay Firm in his decision, not "change" his mind as the wind blows.

I really like your Home page and your words on responsible voting are well thought out. Add my thought if you like, which are: The reality of "collective Karma" , meaning communities suffer by their choices when expecting things to change using the same old formulas and of course the same old formulas produce the same old things. The natural law of sowing and reaping works for the just and unjust alike without respect for persons. All of us religious folk can get trapped into "magical thinking" at one time or another because we want to do the right thing so much. We believe because we vote for persons who seem to be right thinking and have the same G-dly values we do that automatically like magic everything will turn out like we believe it should. We forget a misguided person can change and a right guided person can slip and fail into error. We often fail to see the larger picture and trust G-d will bring us into the place He wants for us. G-d can use anyone to accomplish His purpose. He loves us all and has far more patience with us than we have for each other. Shalom Dear Heart and happy voting day!

I'm not 100% sure of that answer. But at the same time, I can't see Him voting for anyone who would support abortion or homosexuality either. So, let us as Christians, vote the way we think He would vote...I send out inspirational devotions and accept prayer requests through my personal email. I join you in praying that God will intercede and give us the most capable person for our next president. I happen to hope its Obama, but Gods will be done, if he is not the one then I pray for whoever it is that they are filled with strentgh and wisdomn in guiding our country. God Bless. Kelly
