About Me
As of 5/29/07, I am a Reform Jew. I LOVE the Jewish Faith, and find it's view of G-d much more unified (and positive!) than what I left behind. Best part of my studies...I am no longer afraid. I was raised with the "G-d of Wrath and Vengance" who was looking to throw most of humanity into hell...those who didn't find the "narrow path", namely belief in Jesus. Yes, I was TOLD that G-d was a loving G-d, but it was very rarely demonstrated to me that this was so. Jesus - who I was raised to believe was G-d - loved me (all the songs said so), but G-d was the one to fear. I no longer need Jesus to protect me from the Father, because I now see Him as the Jews always saw him; the Strong Shepherd, Teacher and Friend. Spend all spare time studying, am teaching myself Hebrew, have taken a short class in Hebrew.
