Hello,

I am a retired college professor. I have been a counselor educator and a counselor. Currently, retired from teaching,;but counseling some on a part-time basis. What do I hope to gain from the Beliefnet communtiy?  I just hope grow in ability to maintain a daily spiritual peace and grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ. The power of God is awesome. Yes, our God is an awesome God. I want to learn how to draw from the strength that is promised to us. I can gain great wisdom and truths from many faiths and  from spiritual people from various faiths and religious practices. However, I am a Christian and of the Baptist faith.  I want to gain knowledge of all faiths and glean the wisdom and inspriation that can be found from true spirituality.
