I am a huge fan of Doreen Virtue. I enjoy all her books. They've helped to me grow over the past year. I like self help books that allow me to analyze myself and what my desires truly are. I also enjoy great works of art, Poets like Maya Angelo, Robert Frost, Walt Whitman just to name a few...I enjoy Music of all sounds. I am a gal who loves "chick flicks" When Harry Met Sally, The Wedding Date and An Affair to Remember are among my favorites... I am a fan of Katherine Hepburn, Jimmy Stewart

Who Inspires Me:
I am inspired by many people...my parents, my son, my siblings, nieces and nephews, great friends, strangers...I feel we all can help one another to be inspired...All we have to do is open our hearts, our minds and let the inspirations come...

My favorite spiritual activities:
I like to Meditate, pray and I am inspired by nature, the young minds of children and the wisdom of the elderly...Both can be the mirrors to our souls...I enjoy gardening, laying out in the sun, kicking back in the backyard stargazing with an open firepit going and spending time with family and friends...

All of us...and those whom do not realize we need it...

About Me

Live, Love, Laugh and Enjoy Along the Way, that is my motto...I am a 46 year old single mom...I never married...My son, Patrick, just turned 20...I am so blessed to have him in my life and I am very proud of the young man he is becoming...It is not easy to raise a child on your own, nor is it easy to be a child in a single family household, but somehow, through the thick and thin of it all as well as with the support of my family...we have become great friends too...

Now that Patrick has moved on to the next phase of his life(needing less of me, smiles) I've decided to reaquaint myself in getting to know me, Judi...So I am looking at new desires, reaching out to new and old friends and hoping that a companion comes in to share our lives...It is scary, it is exciting and I trust in having the Lord with me through my daily journeys...I've become wiser, more spiritual and I feel like a student of the world all over again...It is really cool...

TG it's ALMOST Friday... - December 4, 2008 - 09:51 PM

Being busy is no longer the differentiator Pictures, Images and Photos

Ok, I usually like to write about something that inspires and uplifts, but my work week has been beyond overwhelmingly hectic busy miserable I found myself crying out of exhaustion on the way home from work today.. I usually can weather the many storms that come my way but it felt like the week of unending doom .. ' No matter the call, it started with negative, continued in rude, and ended either in hang ups or obnoxious remarks then a hang up... One person actually nastily gurgle burped in my ear and continued on with the conversation as though NOTHING happened.. I said "Excuse me??" He said nothing and just launched right into a demanding tirade about what he needs..

I was trying to keep a stiff upper lip and deal with the week like a champ but I was so exhausted I felt the tears coming full on by the time I hit the road. So I told myself it's human and okay to have a good cry and if I still felt blue by the time I settled in I had better find something to cheer me up. Quick! So off to "You tube" I went for some comic relief.. Here's a few that brought me out of the dark tired state I was in.. hope they make you belly laugh too: I SO need this!"

Have You ever seen the show Ally Mcbeal episode of the reserved lawyer John Cage and how he would stand in the bathroom run thru the Barry White song "You're my first, my last my everything" to boost his own confidence? Check it out...

Well I got to thinking how everyone and I mean EVERYONE has a song that runs thru their head that makes them feel good about themselves... It's the song that when You hear it, You say to Yourself ..That's right Uh-HUH! Well here's the clip from Ally Mcbeal and the other is MY personal Confidence Song.. .. So think about it, is there a song You have? relate to? makes You feel GOOD about Yourself? C'mon You KNOW You have one.. Confidence is the single most important quality that enriches all facets of life: career, social circles, love, etc. And it's probably the FIRST thing I notice in a Guy.. and attracts me the most. :)

MY "CONFIDENCE" Song!!! you may giggle but how could You NOT feel GOOD after hearing this?!?!
