Hi,

I am a born again Christian in that I had profound awakening about Christ more than 10 years ago, but I am finding that some of my other beleifs are not "approved" by the Christian community. I am convicted about the basic creeds, (the Fall of Adam and Eve, that Christ is who He claimed to be, that He is risen, and that I am not capable of entering heaven or experience Life without Him). However, I know some of my beliefs are not only not embraced by my church family, but some would even call them Satanic. 

I strongly beleive and take seriously Native American spirituality (I have 2 animal totems that have guided me for most of my life, and 2 others that have made themselves known to me in the past couple years). Furthermore, I believe in our connectedness to Mother Earth, wholistic spirituality, the connection of quantum mechanics to the power of intentionality/point of attraction,  and wiccan. I don't see how any of these beliefs contradict my Christian stance, but others would say otherwise.

In addition, I also have gotten frustrated with the church's general stance toward homosexuals. Though I myself am not of that persuasion, I know many people who are that I am friends with and am continuously appalled at how unwelcoming churches treat them. It is a huge turn off to me and I find it to be completely contrary to how Christ would treat them.

Anyways, I don't know how often I will be able to check this site, but I do look forward to hearing others stances on things and having some great conversation.
