Number One book is the Bible. Joyce Meyer has had such a positive impact on my life and I love her. Dr. Charles Stanely from In Touch also intrest me. My favorite movies, hhhmmm, a Hallmark Christmas movies "the Christmas Card', "The Big Chill", ironically "Practical Magic". I love Melissa Etheridge, Enya, Toby Mac. My favorite TV shows include the original CSI and CSI-NY, the old Dr. Doolittle
Who Inspires Me:
My Mother who died of cancer when I was 18 and she was 48. She faced her condition and gave my Dad, and us three children hope and items she wanted us to have. Others include my Pastor, my friends Tammy, Thalia & Janet, and anyone who overcomes a disability mentally or physically
My organizations and affiliations:
My only affiliation at this time is my Methodist Church. I am looking for other ways to volunteer my time in order to bless others as I have been blessed.

Praying, reading the Bible, church - worshiping, fellowship. learning and taking in this awesome creation of Earth that surrounds us!

About Me
Hello All, 
I am a disabled paramedic, having been involved in a auto accident off duty in 2002. I have been in emergency services, both volunteer & paid. A total of 28 years I devoted to my job, 25 of those years as a paramedic. My life was totally my job, which I loved so much helping those who were injured,ill or just needed a transport and a tender hand to hold. My father lives with me, as he is recovering from liver cancer. He also suffers from several other ailments. Currently I am suffering from deteriorating health, along with trying to manage my disability which is worsening. I have had 11 back surgery's, suffer from numbness in my right leg and am told the pain and numbness will continue to worsen. I am trying really hard to find my way around this disabilty, trying to take care of Dad & myself (plus my pup dogs and cat).
With Beliefnet I am hoping to meet others who suffer from chronic pain, friends whom need friends ( I know I need friends), depression, caregivers for aging parents and anyone who needs to have someone to talk to.
My wish ...... loving and caring friends that are willing to have a loving caring friend back.
