My Dad. He was a single father and had to work 2 jobs to pay the bills. The man never complained. He's now my best friend.

About Me
I was raised Irish Catholic in Massachusetts, which basically means guilt!! lol... now I'm searching for a relationship with God, but have no idea what I am. I know I'm not Catholic, even though I received all the sacraments. I lost faith in the church (not the God) during the sex abuse crisis. My own priest was taken out of the church. I'm reading the Bible daily, and working on my relationship with Jesus. I joined this group as a stepping stone to finding my way.
Other than my confusion over religion, I'm a 27 year old female college student in Northern Maine. I lived 25 of those years in Massachusetts, moving up here to be with my fiancee. It's still a bit of an adjustment, moving from a city of over 175,000 to a small town of 1700 (if everyone's home!). I'm a social work/psychology major with a minor in English and will be graduating in 2010. I've been in college since 2003, and have changed my major 5 times! Hence, why I'm a senior with two more years to go.
As I said, I live up here with my fiancee Rob, our three cats (Apollo, Mercury, and Ty) two dogs (Aurora "Rory", a 2 year old Black Lab, and Bugaboo "Boo", a one year old Boxer Mix) and a few fish. It's never dull at my house! I enjoy reading, playing computer games (Especially The Sims 2), my Nintendo DS (addicted to Brain Age), listening to music (Fav Band - R.E.M., but I'll listen to anything once - I have over 7,000 songs on my IPOD and only 500 of those are R.E.M.) and so many other things, I don't have room for it all here.
