Hello it is nice to meet you. 

My name is Brianna.

Let me tell you a little bit about my self and how I got to where I am.

I am a 53 year old grandma. Grandma of 3 little boys. Mother of a wonderful young woman who is married to a jewel.   and mother to a son who is in the navy. and the wife of the best husband in the world.  I know that somehow through it all I found my soul mate and we have been with each other since the beginning of our souls and on many journeys through our past lives.

I am also a 53 year old solitary wiccan witch.  Or as of the past 2 years I have been.  now if you want more labels, you can say that my gods and goddesses who I honor as aspects of the Divine,  or celtic. In fact that is what my sign on name is made of. The two names of two goddesses that I rely on alot.  Brighid and Danu (often known as dana, anu, anna).  I connect to them as the mother and woman aspects of the divine. I am also walking the green path which means I try to stay connected to mother earth and to do what is good for her and all.  this is the only earth we have and we need, we have to work with her to help her recover from all of our mistakes.

I am searching for more and more historical information on the celts, not happy with just fluff or nice sounding information.  I am wiccan because I do agree or like some of what is done.   glad that I am solitary because that is how i like to practice, perhaps like the cunning folk of old.  Natural and more earthly spells are what I do and alot of times, spur of the moment.  If I need to, I do cast a circle and use correspondences but if no time I use the will of the elements, and the gods and goddesses as I cast my spell for the better good of myself and the universe. 

I do not honor the rede because it is part of wicca but because I do believe in the law of 3, have always seen it through my life, and also because I accept cause and effect.  it makes sense to me. Harm none? to me this means to not deliberately set out to harm someone to gain something for you.  now, in protection of loved ones or self,  I will do non harming bindings, but if put to the test I will defend also. that makes sense to me too.

I have been sensitive and intuitive and telepathic all of my life. but just  never knew what to call it, or how to use it. so these talents would come and go at almost their will not mine. but never for harm. just without direction. I am now searching the shamanic path, not knowing if my visions and dreams are more like shamanic or just intuitive. study will show me which. and knowledge is power even if it is not the answer that you think it will be.

    so there you have it.  close to the earth and other lives animate or inanimate here on this planet and close to the ancient views of God that are balanced and feel right to me.

Oh and as far as white or black magic?  there is none. there is just magic and the intent of the person casting it. to say that black is wrong and white is good is like saying daylight is good and nighttime is evil.  or sunshine is great and shade is evil.  All of nature shows balance with male and female parts, and  polarity and as long  as it stays balanced all is fine. it is when there is an unbalanced that you have problems to come.
