About Me
I'm 41 years old, with 3 wonderful children, and 4 adorable grandchildren.
I used to be happily married, until this past October 31st, when my husband of almost 15 years decided he didn't want to be married to me, and moved in with another woman. Sadly, he was not a Christian man. I had always hoped he would change in that area, but never forced the issue. My husband was mine, and our daughter's best friend. Our daughter is Spiritual, and has a strong belief in God as well as I do. Her image of her father is now shattered, as well as her dreams of her family.
My daughter and I have had to move 80 miles away, to live with my sister and her family now. Our lives have been turned upside down, as well as our hearts.
My daughter has had to go on depression medication, and go to counselling, I've also needed medication for depression, and for my blood pressure as well, and counseling for me too.
I would love to meet someone who could help me through this difficult time. A good friend, and perhaps someone special enough some day to be the love in my life, with God's blessing.
UPDATE: 4-18-2008
My daughter and I have moved back to our home, as living with my sister and her husband was just adding stress to our lives. How my sister has stayed so many years with a man that treats her and her children so horrible is beyond me, but I couldn't do it anymore.
On March 13th, 2008, I was in a car accident, on my way to a support hearing against my husband. I totaled my car, and have a very broken leg to show for it as well. I had surgery on the 27th of March, to repair the crushed bone in my leg. 3 screws, and a bone graft were added, to keep things in place so they can heal. I'm now in a wheel chair, and will be for at least 2 more months...
I'm feeling VERY overwhelmed with the runs of bad luck it seems that I've been bombarded with since my husband leaving. I know, God never gives us more than we can handle, but I feel already like I've past that point, so I guess he's carrying me through this time now.
I'm still losing weight, which is a very good thing. I've already dropped 80 pounds since last Spring!
I feel like my inner beauty, and outer beauty are becoming closer to a match lol.
