About Me

I'm just trying to figure out what it's all about. Raised Catholic, I left the Church and came into what can only be described as a spiritual desert. Not satisfied with organized religion (experienced firsthand enough gossip, backstabbing, legalism, fear, and spiritual "popularity contest" tactics to last me several lifetimes!) I converted to secular humanist philosophies. That has worked much better for me but doesn't fully account for several paranormal and spiritual experiences I've had. So here I am, trying to find middle ground.

Dear person, I, too, suffer from anxiety/stress. It also manifests itself as symptoms in my body- chest pain, shortness of breath, etc. I had a complete workup with a cardiologist, and everything is normal. I will be seeing a counselor in 8 weeks- that's the soonest that I could be seen! I hope that we can be friends. Laura (AKA Sunnygirl52)
