Who Inspires Me:
Past experience shows that because we are imperfect beings we will make mistakes. Each of us at some point in time will deliver a unique form of injustice towards an unwitting soul (no one can measure the pain others may feel). Yet, when faced with this reality though it may be dismaying to say the least, it is a reality that will show our lack of conformity to certain "self-imposed" resolutions. About Me
Theophilus Nicholson, in the introduction to his book, Moving Toward Perfection, acknowledges the "valued" contribution of a parent to the development of his or her off-spring. He also writes, "My experiences and the Christian precepts my grandfather taught me formed the impetus for these reflections."
Thus it is no surprise that Moving Toward Perfection explores these profoundly significant aspects of a fulfilling Christian life, employing personal anecdotes, acute observations, and biblical quotations. Forthright and inspiring, Moving Toward Perfection will engage readers and help them focus on aspects of their lives perhaps heretofore ignored, in order to help them live a more Christian lifestyle. Major emphasis is placed on child-rearing, which the author deems a "sacred trust."
Theophilus Nicholson was born in the British Commonwealth in 1951 and was raised by his grandfather. Mr. Nicholson came to America in 1971 and subsequently took evening classes at Central High School and Essex County College in Newark, New Jersey. Married with two "very spirited" daughters, the author and his family live in New Jersey. This is his first published book.
