I am a 46 year old white lady. I am married to my husband Jim of 18 years. I have two children, a daughter 26, and a son, 23. My daughter has my first grandchild, a son 8 months old. My husband is disabled and in poor health and a few years older than myself. I also am disabled. In 2004, I shockingly discovered I have CML, a form of leukemia. Two years ago, I discovered I have COPD. I am a very nervous, easily depressed person in spite of medication. I am a worrier. I worry about everything but my religion and my pastor is trying to help me with this. I have to learn that if I have true faith, I must give my worries to God and forget about them which is a struggle for me. I have panic attacks. My mother was a very nervous person also. I suffered from PMDD, a severe form of PMS from the age of 22 or so. I am now in early menopause due to the leukemia, and even though doctors tell me since I take hormones I should not be suffering from the PMS/PMDD any longer but I still do...every month, it is just not as severe, but with it comes severe bouts of depression. My children have inherited my bad nerves, my daughter also suffers from PMDD.  I am interested in this group in hope to find others who share my same problems, who will understand and maybe be a help  to myself and others in the process.
