Born & raised in the Pacific NW, I now call the desert SW home.  I met my husband of 41+ years while still in High School; together we managed to raise three children without killing each other, or them.  They are all now in their late 30s, and each has added to the family incredible spouses as well as a collection of six grandchildren that range in age from 8 to 14.    

For many years I held various business management positions, the most recent as Vice President of a sizeable manufacturing company.  However, those days have morphed into these and I am now living the best of both worlds.  I work still, but I also do a great many other things typically associated with retirement.  Travel heads up that list, as does reading (I love all sorts of subjects), Bible study, hosting dinners for family & friends, wiling away hours with my beloved husband, hiking, and so much more.

In terms of my faith, I am a Bible believing Christ follower.  I am affiliated with a body of believers where I regularly worship, study, serve and fellowship  I subscribe to orthodox creeds, though I don't define myself or my beliefs by a specific denomination.  By most standards I am conservative and evangelical.
