I read almost everything - my favorite authors are Mary Janice Davidson, JK Rowling, James Patterson, Laurell K. Hamilton and Diane Mott Davidson. I love most kinds of music although old rock and roll and country are my favorite right now. Toby Keith, Carrie Underwood, Bon Jovi, Genesis and the Beatles are my favorite musicians.
Who Inspires Me:
My grandmother did while she was alive. Now my mom does - she has been married to my dad for over 40 years, she raised my brother & I to be good people and has stood by me through the thick and thin. She is a 4 year cancer survivor.
My favorite spiritual activities:
I usually pray when I go to bed. I try to talk to god and thank him for everything that I have.
Who I'm praying for:
My family, my friends, the hospice families that we helped at Christmas and a friend who is sick.

About Me
As my name says, I am a busy mom of 2 beautiful kids. I work full time and also part time and my kids live with me and visit their father usually 1 day a week. Lately I feel like a hamster on one of the wheels in his cage - constantly running in circles getting nowhere. Over the last two years I have gained weight and just have been too tired to do anything about it. I am close to my family and to my exhusbands family as well. I am looking to find some peace, possibly become happy with myself again and to meet new friends. My girls are my life, but I think I am to the point that I need to find more in my life.
