About Me
I have followed various religions before finding myself within Buddhism. Unfortunately there is no one around for me to talk to and I look forward to finding friends here on Beliefnet. I spend my spare time meditating, reading, practicing tai chi, and doing cross-stitch. I've always been interested in Chinese and Japanese culture (mainly Japanese). My husband Sam and I hope to travel to Japan in the future. We recently bought our first (and hopefully last) house which is being filled with oriental treasures, thanks the the many antique shops in central and northern VA. I hope to get some pics uploaded soon. Sam is working on the designs for a koi pond/oriental meditation garden and any suggestions are welcome.
