About Me
Hi,
My name is Teresa, and im 43 y/o married f in TX. I have 3 beautiful children, one of which went home to live with Our Father, Dec. 10, 2006. She was struck by an underage drunk driver while she was out of her car, off the roadside helping a friend fix his truck. My oldest son, Mitchell (Mitch) was stationed in Iraq during this time, then returned home this Oct. 07. We found out shortly after he returned he is gravely ill with a rare form of Liver Cancer and is now on Chemo hoping for surgery in the spring. I have a 13 y/o son, Jordan, who is a very strong young man and wise for his age. All of my kids are close to the Lord and have always been very compassionate, loving individuals. I have been blessed, after being divorced for 6 yrs, meeting and marrying a wonderful man Kenneth. I know that God is in control of our lives and we are to trust in His Wisdom whatever life holds for us. We have all had our faith tested in the last couple of years but we continue growing stronger and closer to Him each day. It is hard to stay focused, but continual practice of prayer and looking at His Creation is comforting and strengthing. I urge anyone who is feeling hopeless to cling to Our Father and keep your mind and heart open continually and He will bring you thru. We are not promised there will be no pain but He has promised that if we trust Him that He will be beside us thru the storms. I have recently started going to church again and feel the desire to be working with others again to shine His light. I also have been going thru a difficult trial with my best friend whom I gave my sincere blessings to marry my ex husband to. She has just recently stated that she is not comfortable with me and has basicly abandoned our friendship. I know there has probably been issues that arose that were'nt discussed openly and have festered, but I am at a loss as to what to do about anything. Sometimes it is hard giving it all to God and with everything else that is going on with my son it is just hard all the way around. But anyway, I would like to find avenues to go to, to strengthen my faith and hoping to meet others that I can become friends with. My profession is in the Emergency Medical field in which I am a Paramedic. I love helping and meeting new people, especially geriatric's. They seem to have so much wisdom and are so overlooked in our society. Would love to hear from anyone who is hurting or just to share thoughts. ~ Peace and Prayer to Our Soldiers and their loved Ones.
