Charity, Movies, TV, Music, Travel, Art, Yoga, Health, Weight loss, Fitness, Family, Dating, My interests are varied & include time with family & friends, attending area events...summer festivals, art fairs, concerts..eclectic music, dancing, day/weekend trips..Ann Arbor, Chicago, as well as travel, hiking, camping, photography, my cat & participating in activities with my singles group to name a few.
My Favorite Books, Authors, Musicians, Movies, Preachers, TV shows, etc:
Movies...ok, I admit that I love chick flicks.."When Harry Met Sally", "Under The Tuscan Sun", as well as my favorite classics & musicals. A silly comedy is fun sometimes too!
My taste in music is from old Gershwin standards, jazz, blues, Motown, classic rock, disco, funk, 80's dance & some current artists with a dash of country thrown in.
I still love books & browsing through bookstores, but admit that I usually read the newspaper or a magazine these days.
Who Inspires Me:
it could be a coworker, patient, family member, friend, stranger or somone in the public eye.
My favorite spiritual activities:
meditation, prayer, being in nature, giving back to others whether through my job, volunteer work or acts of kindness.

About Me
I first came to the beliefnet boards during my separation in 2002. I found comfort & support on the separation/divorce board during that time. Later, I ventured over to the singles board & others for small talk & humor, as well as support.
I haven't been around for awhile, as I've been busy with work & hosting singles events in my area. My life has changed in many positive ways for the most part. I have a great circle of life long friends who I get out with when I can, in addition to my new friends in my singles group. Other people have given me a break from hosting events (which I still attend), & it gives me a little more time to venture back on the beliefnet boards & catch-up with some of the people I've known here, as well communicating with some new people.
