About Me
Introvert. Spirituality is an important part of my life. Contemplative Monastic soul. Have traveled through many organized religions. Learned much, continue to learn. While I respect all forms of worship, I am not an evangelical, or charismatic-style worshipper or Christian fundamentalist.
I had a spiritual vision at a young age which made me aware of that part of me which is monastic in a spiritual sense. Candle lighting helped me get in touch with that "Center." Later, I would learn that I fit the profile of a "highly sensitive person" and have been given cetain gifts to help others heal.
Choosing to stay in the world instead of joining a monastic order (except as a layperson) and get married was difficult, because of my "inner focus," but as introverted as I can be, I don't regret my choice, as I married someone willing to allow me to be who I am and continually supports my spiritual growth.
I have been on a spiritual journey most of my adult life and continue to journey, though I have found my spiritual "place" for now--a reflection of my journey.
