I have several favorite authors, mostly female. Kay Hooper, Beverly Barton, Rachel Gibson, Lisa Cach, etc. Nothing to deep, just good old escapism.
Favorite music is country and christian. Brad Paisley, Kenny Chesney, Tim McGraw, Rodney Adkins, Phillips, Craig and Dean, Jeremy Camp, david Crowder.
Field Of Dreams, The Outsiders, Night at the Museum and The National Treasure movies.
CSI (all of them), Law and Order (all of them) and Cold Case
My favorite preacher is Gene Appel of Willow Creek C
Who Inspires Me:
My Husband, Scott. He has been through so much, yet continues to have a strong faith and so much to give even though he often does not see that himself.
Gene Appel, my favorite pastor. The children that I work with on a daily basis.
My in laws for thier dedication to mission work in Africa, Guam and Bangledesh.

About Me
I never know what to say about myself, but here goes nothing.
I am a mom with four kids, 2 boys and 2 girls. And an awesome husband. I love all of them with all my heart.
I come from a disfuctional background filled with several hurdles to overcome, but instead of letting them pull me under, I tread water for a long time before finding the strength to swim to shore. I have always had an unerring faith in God. Even when I didn't go to church, I still felt his presence. I finally, thanks to my husband, found my way back to church about 5 1/2 years ago and I felt like I had come home after a very long time away. It has been an incredible journey ever since. I have developed a closer relationship with God and become stronger in my faith. In August of 07 I was baptized after making the decision to dedicate my life fully to Christ.
I am an avid reader of mindless books read only for entertainment and crosswords and wordgames and crossstitching. I love to work out and have run a few marathons.
