About Me
Hello. I joined to learn more about my spiritual make up, to find answers to myriad questions, to interact with like minded souls, and to make new friends. I have been given a vision to start a non-profit organization to help homeless people and animals. The basics of course would be covered, food, shelter etc. But I would like to incorporate a holistic aspect that no other organization (that I am aware of) has utilized. I have a long list of ideas, but I'm open to suggestions. I am just beginning to learn what is required to start a non-profit. If anyone has any information to share, I welcome your input. I have first hand experience with poverty, homelessness, and physical and mental health issues. I have found help and healing with spiritual and holistic health practices. I believe that these facets of human existance are the cornerstone to a happy, fulfilled life. I do not yet know, how, when, or where this shelter will be developed. I just know that I have a calling to do this. It's in God's hands to provide the means.

Enjoyed reading your profile. My interests are similar. Do you know how to apply for a 501-C3/non profit status with the government? The first "business part" of having a charity is applying for that status and forming a board. I need to know more myself. If you find out any good links, i'm at /plumucci or plumucci@aol.com.
