My mom and my dad; Joyce Meyer; Max Lucado's books; some of the television preachers; Flylady...her routines and "babysteps" philosophy have helped me a lot: "15 minutes at a time." I can do just about anything for 15 minutes, sit down and rest, and then do 15 minutes more.

Studying the Bible; listening to some of the preachers on television...some of them are absolutely wonderful, including three women preachers.

About Me
We are all connected. All things are related. Everyone and everything can be our teacher, and a teacher always shows up when we need one.
I'm 60, still a waitress at a local Waffle House, and can't imagine working anywhere else. Small town in GA...grew up in a smaller town in Maine, been here in the SunnySouth for over 35 years now.
When I'm not working I'm on the computer, going to the library, doing paper crafts, reading, coloring mandalas, and taking care of my house plants. I like to cook, and enjoy trying new recipes, but I really, really, really hate doing the dishes afterwards!!
