About Me
I am an easy going, laid back person who loves to laugh and
enjoy life. I have cold hands, a warm heart, and find silence to be golden. I
believe that every cloud has a silver lining and that all work and no play
makes me a dull girl! I let sleeping dogs lie, do not cry over spilt milk or
make mountains out of molehills. I follow my heart and simply live and let
live. In a nutshell, life is what one makes it, so I try to be happy, content,
and the best person I can be.
As for my religious upbringing, I was taught Christianity in both Fundamental
and Southern Baptist churches. However, I knew from a very young age this was
not the right spiritual path for me. Luckily, as a child I was interested in
becoming an anthropologist "when I grew up." This allowed me to study
different religions and spiritualities under the guise of anthropology without
my family totally freaking out (although there were certainly moments).
Through my years of study, I have found much value in various spiritual paths
and have incorporated those insights into my own spirituality. And although I am eclectic in my spiritual
thought, I feel a strong connection to nature and lean toward shamanism.

Namasthe: What you wrote is music to my ears - September 28, 2008 - 07:07 AM
Namasthe: What you wrote is music to my ears. People like you who sincerely looking for the TRUTH are the "salt" of this earth........... Thousands years before the birth of Jesus Christ Rig Veda wrote:....... "Ekam Sat, Viprah Bahuda Vadanti".....meaning "TRUTH or God is One but learned men describe that in various ways."
