Hello

I initially joined Beliefnet to regain a sense of community, albeit online, that I had several years ago and have lost along the way.

I'm a fairly peaceful soul, with many interests including spirituality, meditation, music, film, nature and photography. I draw and paint, and am thinking of experimenting with sculpture. I play guitar but haven't touched it for a few months now.

I teach English as a second or other language to young asylum seekers and refugees/immigrants in the community which I love, both for their enthusiasm and the variety of culture. I find it hard work as a new teacher, but the rewards and sense of satisfaction at the end of the day make it all worthwhile.

I used to do more spiritual work, energy work, counselling, mentoring, self development with clients, and this is something that I'm focusing on more again. I used to run a spiritual community online many years ago, and know how good they can be. I'd like to make some new friends and find people to share the path with.

Update! 26.4.08 - My 'miracle work' on cultivating creativity group, is making good progress, and already I can see my life opening up before my eyes.

Update! 24.5.08 - I decided to form a group called Living Life Authentically, here on beliefnet. It was an inspired thought last night ... and a physical reality today!! I hope you'll join me and make some new friends and share, in good company. x
