About Me
As it says in my tagline: "I'm Out, Loud, Native, and Proud!" Specifically, I'm a gay Cherokee man, married (in Cambridge, Mass.) to a man for almost 6 years. I'm also a seminary student, Spanish tutor (and I speak Cherokee), and Native American activist. I'm looking for conversation, inspiration, and friends. Uyetsasgviwahya dawatoa tsalagi. (My Cherokee name is Laughingwolf.)
My Basics
Gender: Male
Occupation: Spanish tutor and seminary student
Relationship Status: Married
Faiths:
Native American/First Nations,
Faith Description: I combine my traditional Cherokee beliefs and traditions with my Christian beliefs, BUT my Cherokee lifeways inform any Christian beliefs. Thus, I am NOT a traditional Christian. I also love Judaism and Hinduism. They have helped me to see God and life in so many beautiful ways.
