My Favorite Books, Authors, Musicians, Movies, Preachers, TV shows, etc:
Jesus Christ Superstar, Jonathan Livingston Seagull Narrated by Richard Harris is the best. My old album was scratched and after 15 years of searching for another was able to find an album still in the original plastic for $6 and after a few more years got it digitized to a cd. I would have payed a hundred dollars.
Who Inspires Me:
Jesus teachings, Mancow
My organizations and affiliations:
I volunteer at a food bank once a month and at the Hare Krishna temple in Detroit as they need it. While I'm non denominational I believe all faiths have something to teach you and all faiths have their own versions of Dogma, so I receive what I can use and leave everything else behind while doing my best (and trying to improve) to love everyone on the way.
My favorite spiritual activities:
Reading, discussing faith, volunteering and I would like to find a group of people who share their talents.
Who I'm praying for:
My Kids

Active Spiritual Seeker - I'm spiritual but turned off by organized religion.
About Me
I'm a single dad with custody of my kids.I went through a long bad marriage but didn't believe in divorce untill she began to abuse my kids. I've always believed everything you go through is for a reason and when I hug my kids I know exactly why. Now I find myself searching for a more spiritual life. And as I study I find some of the things I study about. Lucid dreams, Visions, Focusing/Quieting my mind(Meditation), telekinesis are all thing I did naturally as a child and find myself longing to get back to where I was. I believe meditation is the key to "getting back" but haven't been able to get it back so far. I have been able to see effects of the guided meditations relaxing me but getting to the point of doing it and directing it myself hasn't worked yet. The biggest thing is I would like to do is share it with my kids so they never lose it like I did. I'm also at myspace.com/shornkohl
