About Me
Hey, all. I'm a doctoral student in Philosophy of Religion and R.E.C. (Religion, Ethics, and Culture), whose concentration is "applied constructive postmodern thought" in primarily two areas: "issues in Religious Pluralism," and "the Science and Theology dialogue."
Most of my work consists of careful analysis of religious language and scientific concepts as they are used by various groups and individuals, with the somewhat "therapeutic" goal of helping to clarify confusion and thus help to foster mutual understanding and (hopefully) peaceful co-existence. (lately I've been particularly involved in the Buddhist-Christian dialogue and the Buddhist-Muslim dialogue)
I also have a background in Film Studies, and am an avid movie lover. I'm very much interested in the use of examples from film and television series to illustrate and explore various religious, ethical, and philosophical concepts.
