About Me
Simply stated, I'm searching. I'm open to new ideas. I enjoy contemplative thinking and thought provoking conversations with people from all walks of life. I believe that people should respect this beautiful planet and spend time communing with nature. I constantly seek to keep my life in balance, even though I stumble and fall quite often. I believe in a higher power, though I don't feel that He/She/It needs to be defined to be loved and revered. I am skeptical of those who claim to have any set religious schema in place; in fact, I'm not quite convinced it is even possible to know any secrets of the universe when confined to such a frail, physical form. Though I tend to play "devil's advocate" in a debate, I'll never disrespect the sacred beliefs/viewpoints of others; so naturally, I expect the same respect in turn. I adore creative pursuits, though I can be equally logical. Like most people, I'm really a bundle of contradictions constantly seeking balance between various parts of myself.
For after all what is man in nature? A nothing in relation to infinity, all in relation to nothing, a central point between nothing and all and infinitely far from understanding either. The ends of things and their beginnings are impregnably concealed from him in an impenetrable secret. He is equally incapable of seeing the nothingness out of which he was drawn and the infinite in which he is engulfed.
~ Blaise Pascal
