I have a passion for looking past labels.  For instance, I find no meaningful difference between liberals and conservatives.  I find both to be more interested in supporting their positions than in being loved.  I find both trying to size people up do discern whether or not somebody is like them.  Don't try to size me up.  Get to know me.  I'm not a collection of ideologies held together by a bag of skin.  I'm a human being.  So are you.  We often use our ideologies to protect ourselves from being vulnerable with those who are "other". 

Let me put it this way.  I could not care less about your theology or political views.  Rather, I am interested in how you treat senior citizens, children, and animals.  The rest is pure abstraction.  Labels are for cans.
