About Me
Initially shy, intelligent, irreverent, imperfect, compassionate, eccentric, giving, dry humoured, occasionally neurotic, a definite work in progress, down-to-earth guy always looking for quality friends. I work out 5-6x/wk, cycle, play hockey and rugby and keep myself in good shape. I also enjoy going out on the town with friends, spending the afternoon at a ball game, getting on my bike (or buying a plane ticket) and exploring new places, random acts of kindness, questioning established assumptions people make (including my own) and thoughtful conversations. I'm well travelled: Love to go on backpacking trips and have been all over Canada, the U.S., Australasia, the South Pacific, the UK, Ireland and Central America.
Traditional Anglican with an open mind and heart and an inclusive soul. The older I get, the more I realize I don't know.
Splitting my time between Gatineau, Québec and Brooklyn, NY; straddling the francophone-anglophone divide.
"Live this life and do what ever is done in a spirit of thanksgiving. Abandon attempts to achieve security, they are futile. Give up the search for wealth, it is demeaning. Quit the search for salvation, it is selfish. And come to comfortable rest in the certainty that those who participate in this life with an attitude of thanksgiving will receive its full promise." --- St. Benedict of Nursia (480-543 C.E)
