Hi, I am a single mom of 2 teenage boys. I was divorced about 8 years ago after 18 years of marriage. I enjoy the newsletters and information received from beliefnet.

I am currently searching, I've reached the age where I am thinking what have I done in my life. I'm looking to socialize with like minded people, learn what I can, and get a deeper understanding of what my purpose is in life.

I have suffered from depression, mostly due to chronic pain, I suffer from Rheumatorial Arthritis. I am making some serious life changes over the next few months, the first is I am having gastric bypass surgery. Once that is complete and I am healed I will be having both of my knees replaced (one at a time). Because of all this on my plate right now, I am currently not working, I will be out for over a year, and possibly permanent. It has been hard for me to be home, I was a workaholic!! I have been working since I was 12, I'm now 49 so it has been a big change. I do not want to fall into the lazy trap, so I have been setting up my on line boutique (Bab's Boutique). and doing some affiliate programs and of course socializing with some wonderful people both here and on some other social networks. I have found most people to be supportive and encouraging.
