About Me
I am a mom, wife and recent college grad. I married early in life and graduated late in life with a very "useful" degree in Political Science. It is an especially useful degree here in rural western North Carolina. I love politics and the news. I believe America is headed towards Socialism, and I am not going without a FIGHT! I care too much about this country and want us all to remain free, independent, self-sufficient, moral, and God-fearing. This country was founded on Christian principles, and it should remain that way.
I am currently employed as an order entry "girl" at a garment label manufacturer. I'm trying to get into the art department so I can have a paid outlet for my creativity. Funny, it is completely unrelated to PolSci, but very enjoyable. I have been working closely with 6 women since July who I really love. Honestly, I don't like my job, but I really enjoy them.
I was doing some writing for Tom Millican, a 2008 presidential candidate running as an independent. I hope you will be inspired by his message about America. He wants to Return America to Excellence with his straight talking, no nonsense ideas. Tom is not a politician and doesn't act like one. I hope you will visit his website and give him a chance to help America be that shinning city on the hill.
Tom Millican for President 2008
"Return to Excellence" with patriotic and Christian perspectives.
Illegal immigration is one of American biggest problems. If we can't control out borders, then how can we control anything? I am concerned about the illegals' impact on jobs, crime, education, social services, and hospitals. Pat Buchanan and Michael Savage have been yelling about his problem for some time now and no one seems to care. I care!

I love to discuss politics and religion with people. Sometimes I make the really mad, and sometimes I make a friend. I never know. I am a Christian who believes very strongly in reincarnation (yikes!!). To me it is the only explanation for the way things work out in life. Wanna talk about it??

Tom Millican Interview on UnCooperativeRadio.com - December 2, 2007 - 12:27 AM
Dec. 1, 2007 -- Tom Millican was interviewed by internet radio talkshow host, Brian Bonner on his show UnCooperativeRadio.com. It is archived and available to listen to and download anytime, if you missed this great interview. Simply click “Listen” on the 12/01/07 interview. PPP Bonner started the interview by asking Tom about his unaffiliated status. Tom explained that because he is unaffiliated he can and will be able to speak his mind. Both the Democrats and Republicans, also known as Republicrats, confine candidates issues and messages. Tom explained how he had been officially kicked out of the North Carolina Democrat Committee (NCDC) because of his Right to Life advocacy work. The NCDC did not like the fact that while Tom was a state party official, he did not include any Democrats on his Right to Life candidates to support. He was officially reprimanded and removed. PPP Next came Bonner’s flagship issue: illegal immigration. Tom unequivocally stated first and foremost he would effect the complete removal of all illegal aliens from the country and disengage from the North American Union agreement. A similar successful plan of LBJ’s to remove illegal aliens was discussed. Bonner was appreciated his position. PPP Legal immigration must benefit the nation first, and the immigrant second. The process for legal immigration must be reformed to permit those with needed skills to enter, while keeping criminals and the ill out. The two were in complete agreement. PPP Tom was asked about his tax plan for America. His answer is the Fair Tax. Tom is confident that the IRS can be eliminated in 3years and that manufacturing facilities and jobs will return stimulating the US economy. The Fair Tax will leave employees with more of their own money to save or spend as they see fit. The Fair Tax encourages saving and investment, both very beneficial. PPP Bonner asked about education and Tom reminded Bonner about his Two Tier Plan of Action that lays out the priorities for Returning America to Excellence. Education is not a top priority, but Tom agreed that it is a very important issue, but is firm that education must be returned to state control and that would eliminate the need for the Department of Education. Bonner asked about vouchers and Tom agreed that the money should follow the students and parents should have more control. PPP Social Security was discussed and Tom said the Fair Tax will change this situation. Tom advocates an impenetrable padlock on Social Security deposits forcing politicians to either raise taxes or cut programs. He reminded us that he would cut programs like the Dept. of Education. Bonner asked again about how to save it and privatizing it. Tom made it clear that he would work to save it, because it was promised to those contributors and we are obligated to fulfill that promise. Privatizing is something Tom is willing to discuss and research with experts after taking office. Bonner wants Tom to remember he will have the power of the bully pulpit to encourage citizens to pressure their legislators. PPP There was some conversation about encouraging people to change their party affiliations from Democrat or Republican, to Unaffiliated. Bonner thinks this change will send and message and it is the only way to effect change. If we keep voting for Republicrats, then we keep getting more of the same poor leadership. PPP Bonner found out that Tom is a Constitutional scholar when Tom clearly stated the 2nd Amendment, Right to Bear Arms, lies with the people, and that there is no “separation of church and state.” The phrase comes from a personal letter from Thomas Jefferson and has been taken completely out of context. PPP Bonner asked who Tom would choose as Supreme Court Chief Justice. Tom said he liked Justice Clarence Thomas the most and would look at Thomas or someone in his mold for that esteemed position. PPP Roe v. Wade was discussed and Tom reminded Brian of his past history and commitment to the Right to Life movement. The protection of the snail darter was, and has been, of greater concern to some than human life. Under my administration I cannot allow abortion. Bonner made a great point about how times have changed since Roe v. Wade, because of today’s lack of stigma attached to single mothers having babies out of wedlock makes is nearly unnecessary. Now women can have a careers or continue going to school without shame. They both marveled at those facts and wondered how abortion could be acceptable. Tom ended the discussion saying, “We cannot Return to Excellence, if we kill out own young.” PPP Return to Excellence, Tom’s campaign slogan, is really liked by Bonner. He said is hopeful and similar to shooting for the stars! PPP Out of concern for Tom’s campaign effort, Bonner asked if he had enough money to fight the Republicrats or not? Tom leapt into a Son’s of Liberty story and finally said, “We have no money, but have found lots of people who want change.” Saving America and fighting the Globalists will take money, but Tom is confident he will get what he needs. PPP Going against McCain-Feingold, Bonner said he was going to vote for Tom Millican and hoped that all of this listeners would find out more about him and vote for him too. PPP I urge you to go listen to the entire broadcast for ALL the interesting conversation. www.UncooperativeRadio.com
