About Me

I am an avid Bible scholar who also holds a degree in Behavioral Science. I was raised as a Jehovah's Witness but left the organization as soon as I was old enough to leave home. My parents are still active JWs for 35 years. I have an apologetics/counseling ministry to help those coming out of religious cults, which consists of a website at www.freewebs.com/wwwsoundnessofmindcom, two online recovery support groups, an audio room on Paltalk, speaking engagements (some of my audio lectures are available in MP3 format--e-mail me!), and You Tube videos (some are also included below) addressing cult related issues. I am also in the process of publishing a book to address the specific recovery issues of victims of spiritual abuse. Great Video! I especially enjoyed your explanation about how Cults use the very same techniques that Satan has used since the garden of Eden. I would like to give two quotes, one from the bible and the other is a rock solid doctrine of a very popular world wide cult for comparison. The Bible: Genesis 3:4 "At this the serpent said to the woman: “YOU positively will not die." A book published in 1920 by the WTBTS: "Millions now living will never die" Satan really is using the very same techniques!

I apologize to anyone who came over here to listen to the audios of my lecture series I gave at the Christian retreat last week. Beliefnet has deleted all 5 audios, even though they were not "slandering" other faiths but only contrasting their beliefs with the Bible, since the groups I covered either claim to be Christian or claim to be compatible with Christianity. Not to worry, I will find another way to get these to you all.
