About Me
About me.
Hi to all Beliefnet Members.
I'm Phill, I'm 36 years of age, in a strong, loving relationship, 2 children & 1 dog. Usual debts of life etc, etc.
The reason for me joining this community is that I am looking for Spiritual answers. At the moment, I'm quite lost on the path of life due to the loss of my Mother at the beginning of this year. Its very difficult to keep on going sometimes. Just when you need that reassuring hug or need to talk to someone or even that well done from a parent, its completely empty.....
I've come to realise that time is a kind of healer and the grief from bereavement does not get easier, you learn to accept and live with it.
So as you can imagine, Positivity is my Key word. Also, ' taking each day as it comes, and grateful for that particular day '. Anyhow, don't be strangers, come and say ' Hi '.
Love and light to one and all
Phill. x

Hello, Phil - from all those great pictures, your Mum was obviously a beautiful person. I liked the saying at the opening of the video, and at the end, too. when my Mom passed in '86, I read this short verse at her memorial: Do not stand at my grave and weep; I am not there. I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow. I am the diamond glints on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain. I am the gentle autumn's rain. When you awake in the morning's hush; I am the swift uplifting rush Of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry; I am not there. I did not die. if you have a look at my profile, you will see I am a Christian Scientist. if you go to www.spirituality.com, you can find stories of other people in similar situations who have found healing of grief through prayer. if you are interested in CS, I'll be happy to answer any questions you might have. warmly, Vern
