About Me
Grew up in NY City. Graduate of the Bronx HS of Science. Studied music pre-college at the Juilliard School and the Manhattan School of Music. Have lived and worked in a wide variety of settings - Winston-Salem, NC;New Orleans, LA; Clearwater, FL; Elkart, IN; Fargo, ND; Nashville, TN; Alexandria, VA (DC Metro); Boyds, MD (DC Metro). Master of Theological Studies from the Divinity School at Vanderbilt University (one of few Jewish students to go through the program in those years.)
Recently moved to Amherst, MA, I am currently serving as p/t Director of Youth and Family Education for Congregation B'nai Israel (Northampton) where I also teach 6th grade in religious school. I am also teaching 5th grade at Beit Ahavah (Reform, Northampton) and 7th grade at the Jewish Community of Amherst (Reconstructionist.)
From 2003-2008 served as Director of Education and Congregational Life for Bethesda Jewish Congregation, a liberal, unaffiliated congregation that has shared sacred space with Bradley Hills Prebyterian Church for 43 years.
I am a Jewish Educator, active in CAJE (chaired CAJE 27) and Jewish musician.
