The Jubilee Chorus NYC Auditions (May 12-13, 15) Rehearsals: Tuesday nights Rehearsal Neighborhood: Manhattan The Jubilee Chorus is committed to glorifying and serving God through musical excellence. We pray our lives and the lives of others will be profoundly changed as we are brought together, sharing our faith through music ministry. We are an ecumenical chorus supporting one another in the spiritual journey. With Christ, our desire is to offer hope and healing to change our world. We commit to providing our members with the opportunity to sing a varied repertoire of great choral music, primarily classical, but also well-crafted contemporary music and spirituals. We strive to achieve the highest standard of performance through our music ministry. The Chorus is a key part of a non-profit global music ministry currently based in over 20 countries throughout the world. The Jubilee Chorus of New York City is now being formed and will join this rapidly growing and exciting ministry. Performances will take place monthly at a variety of churches and venues throughout New York City and on occasion will also include instrumentalists from The Jubilee Symphony Orchestra, another part of this broad music ministry. Currently, Jubilee members in other locations consist of a beautifully diverse group of individuals from a wide variety of fields, church choir members seeking a broader experience, students, music professionals and more. The common attribute is that these are people with music in their hearts who seek to grow spiritually and musically while serving God through a community of fellowship. The Jubilee Chorus of New York City will be comprised of 24 members. Rehearsals will be conducted weekly on Tuesday evenings from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Auditions will be scheduled on May 12, 13 and 15 from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Please join us!
