About Me
My name is Linda, and I teach computer skills to 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. I work in Texas, but live in New Mexico, so I have to drive 30 minutes each way. I work to support my husband, who nearly died from congestive heart failure and cannot be left alone, and my daughter, who stays home to take care of him, and also takes care of the household chores. My daughter is only 27; I am only 49. I feel like I am too young to have to do this; I know she is too young to be responsible for all that!!! I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia in 1994; she was diagnosed a year later. FMS seems to run in our family -- we are not the only ones with it. My main symptoms are depression and fatigue. ((GEE, I DON'T KNOW WHY!!))
I have joined this community because I need someone, someplace, I can talk to and be myself. Where I don't have to be strong, and smile, and say, "Everything's going to be okay... Don't worry about it." Where I can cry if I need to, and where I can maybe find a friend to talk to.I feel like I'm going to go crazy sometimes, if I don't have someone to talk to....
