About Me
My name is Keren and I'm a Jewish wife and mother of 3, also just became a grandmother for the first time in August 2007. I joined Belief Net to learn more about how people view Judaism and Israel. I have had a long and winding road to returning to the faith of my mother's family. My father was an English Protestant. My mother was from a non-observant Jewish family. So growing up I knew nothing about Judaism. 12 Years ago I started discovering and practicing my Jewish faith that had been locked inside of me. At the same time my husband found out that his mother's family was also Jewish too. We made an aliyah to Israel 3 years ago, we lived in Israel for a month . It was the most awesome spiritual experience I have ever had. I cannot wait to return to Israel, possibly to live there . My DH also loved it there too. Right now I am fighting chronic pain and possible multiple sclerosis, I'm sitting in a wheelchair most of the day, but I'm not going to let it stop me from living my life to the fullest. To me I feel each day is a gift from Hashem and is not to be wasted. I hope to read and become inspired from other Jews on this site.
