About Me
I am an inquisitive 30 something with a great husband and two stepsons. We have a fat ginger cat and 3 fish and live by the sea in beautiful Dorset.
Apart from a voracious reading habit, I indulge in listening to music, occasionally singing, researching health, particularly old fashioned remedies. I also love growing, cooking and using herbs medicinally. I like the idea of living off the land (though our garden is tiny its still fun to grow stuff to eat) and I enjoy foraging in hedgerows for ingredients to make wines, cordials and jelly.
Having discovered the beneficial side effects of exercise (to help combat stress) I am slowly training to run. I feel much fitter than before, but I need to go more frequently. I've also recently taken up Tai Chi again and feel much stronger and calmer for it.
By listening to tales about life from people of many different backgrounds, I'm often reminded how connected we all are in so many ways.
My Basics
Gender: Female
Occupation: Science Technician
Relationship Status: Married
Faiths:
Pagan
Faith Description: Pagan is a term that seems closest to my own beliefs, feeling close to Nature, but I have also found much wisdom in Buddhist and Taoist teachings and in those of the Native Americans. I'm still exploring my path and defining my life as I live it, so 'boxes' with titles on can be misleading....
