Born Governors Is, NY; army brat; grew up in Panama and throughout southern US; Benedictine '56-'69 as chaplain, teacher, coach, convent confessor, auxiliary military chaplain, beekeeper; currently own a wood finishing and decorative painting business in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, NY; have co-authored and illustrated children's books; paint murals, portraits, theater sets; make pottery.
