About Me
I believe in a Divine Presence in the universe. I believe that Jesus was one person among many who understood his connection to that Power in an exceptional way. Jesus the source of spiritual sustanence that resonates most profoundly with me, but I appreciate and respect other sources, and draw on them as well. I believe that Jesus lives on in the body of disciples who have made it their mission to fulfill his purpose on earth, which is to promote fellowship, equality, and dignity for all, regardless of status, creed, lifestyle, ethnicity, or ability. I don't claim to know if there's an afterlife, but I won't deny it. I hope that there is, and that eternal life is for all eventually. What we believe is far less important than how we live in response to that belief. What counts is how we live in this world, in case it's the only one we've got, and in case it isn't.

I love what you wrote about adoption! So few people actually know the truth behind it. I give you a lot of credit in speaking up like that. Few people know the facts out there. Thank you!
