About Me
I dream in color! I've only had my Olympus camera a year, I love it. It travels in the car at all times, unless its contents are uploading.
I'm mad for color! Subtle is no where in my vocabulary. I can paint, I sculpt, I fabricate in metals. Paper is the only medium that gives me heart burn. Scrap booking is a mystery, I can wrap a mean Christmas package and cheat with the bowdabra, but other than that, no can do, well. Passable at best.I work very hard to keep our church's food pantry operational. 2 fund raisers are in the near future. I believe in angels, and that animals have souls. That what goes around comes around and a positive outlook makes for positive results in any time of your life. Especially when things seem to be going to heck in a hand basket.I make and love Thai food. Lived there with my parents, brother, and adopted sister for 7 years, learned the language by running with the neighborhood kids from age 5 to just before my 13th birthday. Then traveled to Iran and lived there with very friendly neighbors and had a Persian boyfriend before the Shah was toppled. Moved to NY, then to CA in 1982. Married at 25, have a daughter who will be 21 this year. Still wildly in love with my man, and he with me. We play together, work on projects, and he watches out for my health, as I was diagnosed with systemic lupus in 2000. Quite a smash to this over achiever type let me tell ya!Now I can't keep a schedule, as I'm never certain what my day will be like until I get up in the morning. So I've not worked in 6 years, a heavy burden on my man, but he is one of the blessings in my life.
