Your Profound Advise on Compulsive Addiction Contr - June 4, 2008 - 01:00 PM

Thank you for your posts on helping folks come to terms with their smoking (?) whatever addictions. I jut recently wrote in my journal of how I am realizing that it is in the WILL and SPIRIT that have control over the ego in my life. I have always been a harsh critic on myself and others for most of my adult life. That was changed three years ago,by an emotional that( manifested into a health issue) that prompted me to activate my spiritual side. I have made it through almost one month of non-smoking ... but got tripped up on going to a shopping addiction! Wow....now what??? I do not have a job!! LOL........not funny I know ,but I am working things out with a good mental attitude and not beating myself or judging others any more! Again Mystic......Thank you for all your input in the group. I agree with you on so many levels. Thanks for letting me vent........Sue
