About Me
Hello All!
I have been reading Beyond Blue on Beliefnet for a while and have been sustained by its contents and your encouraging comments.
Today I have decided to step out and join your community as well. I have been a diagnosed depressive for about 17 years-roughly half my life! It is a Godsend to be able to talk openly to others and know that they really get it.
I am a divorced Mom of two young children, both of whom also have special needs. The challenges never seem to let up. I am pretty sure my house will continue to be a disaster area for years to come. Now I don't have to say well...I'm depressed!!!!!
My current job is as a telephone sales and service person. This position has helped bolster my self-confidence (at least on the phone). I am attending school to earn a technical degree in order to finance my real dream of becoming a practicing Veterinarian.
We should all have dreams. Having goals and continued support is what helps us get out of bed and put one foot in front of the other for one more day. I look forward to meeting more of you Online and discovering what you love and are dreaming about...
