My favorite books are those written by J R R Tolkien, I love the Lord of the Rings movies and westerns. I love Christian music especailly Caedmon's Call, Rich Mullins and Amy Grant. I also enjoy classic rock, country and Blues.
Who Inspires Me:
I am inspired by my children, they have been through a lot but they have huge hearts. I am also inspired by Joyce Meyers, Rich Mullins, Kay Redfield Jamison, WilliamStyron and Zelda Fitzgerald (the last three who prove that you can be honest about "madness".
My favorite spiritual activities:
My favorite spiritual activities are reading, studying, being with my kids, out in nature and listening to contemporary Christian music.
Who I'm praying for:
I am praying for my family and friends, the innocents who can not stand up for themselves and need us to do it for them. I am praying for the peace that begins with me. I am also praying for sunshine, (abhor winter).

Isaiah 40:31 "But they that wait on the Lord, shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings as eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint"
1 Kings 19: 4, 11-13 "But he himself (Elijah) went a days journey into the wilderness and came and sat down under a broom tree, and he prayed that he might die, an said "It is enough. Now Lord take my life for I am no better than my fathers.....Then He (God) said "Go out and stand on the mountain befor the Lord. And behole the Lord passed by, and strong wind tore into the mountains and broke the rocks in peices before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind, and after the wind an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake, and after the earthquake a fire and after the fire a still small voice. So it was when Elijah heard it that he wrapped his face in his mantle and went out and stood at the entrance of the cave. Suddenly a voice came and said, "Elijah, what are you doing here?: When you suffer from depression or Bi-polar, or any painful and exhausting chronic illness, all of which I suffer from and then some, it is hard to wait on the Lord, but if we do He will mount us up with wings as eagles, we shall run and not be weary....And when we are in deep depression and don't want to live, we need to take care of the basics like the Lord did for Elijah, making sure he had food, drink and rest. Then God waited, not for Elijah to be impressed by strong winds, earthquakes and floods, but for him to listen to God in a still small voice inside. This is what we need to do when we can't take the world any longer.
I am a single mother of two boys, Dustin, who will be 21 in Jan. "09". and Danny, who just turned 19. THEY ARE MY HEART, MY INSPIRATION AND MY BEST FRIENDS!!! For the first time in my life I can happily say that I am in a relationship with a wonderful man!!! I have never been able to say that without feeling embarassed by what was going on in my relationship.
I have finally moved back to South Carolina which is my home in my soul not where I was raised. SC is where I became a Christian but I feel that I have learned to be Spiritsual all over. I feel like many Christians give God a bad name.
I am an advocate for the mentally ill and those who can't help themselves at the moment for whatever reason. I have been diagnosed with multiple mental illnesses (and chronic physical illnesses) and know that it is so confusing for all of us when even so called medical experts can not agree on our diagnoses. I have just been diagnosed with Borderline Personality Dissorder for the second time. This seems to encompass a lot of other diagnoses like OCD, ADD and Bi-Polar dissorder. I am not too happy with the stigma that is attached to the diagnoses but I have never been anything but honest with who I am and I am not going to start BSing now. I am a cutter and have a group called Women Who Hurt Themselves and Those Who Love Them.
For the sake of time, I also have groups called Native American Believers, Ending Cruelty, Prayer and Share and Fighting Addiction. I hope that if any of these interest you or can be of help, please join or email me if you have any questions first.
