Welcome and blessings to everyone. My name is Davin.
Along with A Course in Miracles and Tibetan Buddhism I have a strong affinity for the Power of Now teachings of Eckhart Tolle. Tolle's teachings that the Now contains all that is real and true about ourselves in my mind rings very true with what the Course teaches on the holy instant and how "The only aspect of time that is eternal is now."
I have been a student of A Course in Miracles for over 4 years now. Though I have not officially completed the lessons from beginning to end, I have wound my way through them at various times and places according to the stirrings of both sides of my mind.
I enjoy looking at life as a series of lessons that enable me to grow further along in my relationship with the guidance of the Holy Spirit. When I lose myself in the mire of illusion, when at last it becomes too hard to bear, His loving Spirit comes and lifts me up from beneath the mud on my own feet and shows me the way towards the Light that seeps through the door that I have been keeping closed before me.
I am well aquainted with the Text and work with a number of passages that I review and study over and over again. I am currently on my second thorough go around with the Text and am experiencing new awakenings in awareness and perspective as regards the teachings of A Course in Miracles as well as in my ongoing and deepening relationship with the Holy Spirit.
